Responsibilities

This position is responsible for developing a high level sales team that represents the core values of ADS.  The Regional Sales Manager recruits, hires, trains, motivates and directs the sales people within his/her specific sales region. This individual is responsible for communicating company goals and implementing the strategies to obtain the expected growth results. 

 

 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Train, direct and motivate the sales team
  • Recruit strong, successful salespeople
  • Build relationships and bond with key accounts

Contractors, engineers and distributors

  • Participate in industry, political function and key approvals.
  • Interact with inter-company personnel to maximize company performance for customers and sales people (plants, corporate, CSR’s etc.)
  • Communicate and administer company directive and strategy
  • Communicate business, market and competitive conditions to the ZM and corporate personnel
  • Design and implement regional performance  goals
  • Identify trends, markets and opportunities that add growth and profit for ADS/Hancor
  • Design and execute plans to reach performance goals
  • Measure and monitor sales rep and regional performance of all products (commend or correct)
  • Generate new prospects and  related incremental sales
  • Daily travel and interaction with Sales people and customers
  • Maximize sales revenue

 

  • Daily monitoring and management of key metrics (orders, shipments, yield, etc.)

 Educational Requirements:

 

 

 

  • 4 Year Degree (Business, Engineering or technical degree preferred)

 

 

 

 

 Preferred Experience:

 

 

 

  • 3-5 years construction related sales management
  • Engineered or technical product experience
  • Recognized industry sales leader (e.g., awards, accommodations, quantified successes, etc.)
  • Successful history growing sales   

 

 

 

 Physical Requirements:

 

 

 

  • The employee will be interacting with customers on a daily basis and must maintain an executive appearance
  • Employee will be communicating with people all day so they must have clear communication skills
  • The employee will be required to travel to various facilities within the country and has to be able to travel over 50% of the time
