Responsibilities

Our business is growing and so is our team!  ADS is searching for Line Operators, who are responsible for performing and maintaining the daily activities associated with a production line. This includes safety, housekeeping, quality, maintaining production efficiencies, repair and maintenance and minimizing downtime. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. Ability to work varying shifts is also required due to equipment changeovers. A Line Operator reports directly to the shift Production Supervisor.

 

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Embrace a culture of safety. We expect our people to communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries immediately
  • Maintain a safe working environment that includes the consistent use of Personal Protection Equipment to ensure your safety
  • Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Production Supervisor
  • Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods
  • Assist with Preventive Maintenance program as required
  • Practice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenance
  • Meet or exceed standard production efficiencies on all production lines
  • Completion of shift production and reporting paperwork
  • Meet ADS and AASHTO quality specifications for all products produced
  • Perform tooling changeovers in an efficient manner
  • Practice continuous improvement with regard to process and facility housekeeping

Educational Requirements:
