Responsibilities

The Compliance Manager oversees the day-to-day operation of ADS’ compliance program and internal controls procedures.  The Compliance Manager ensures that the Board of Directors, management, and employees are in compliance with rules and regulations, company policies and procedures, and that the behavior in the organization meets the company’s Code of Conduct.

 

The Compliance Manager will develop, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities.  The Compliance Manager will collaborate with other departments (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, Sales, Legal, and Internal Audit) to direct compliance issues to appropriate resolution.

 

This position may require occasional international travel.

 

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Direct day-to-day administration with ADS’ compliance program and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with Compliance Managers located at ADS’ overseas joint ventures locations.
  • Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.
  • Work closely with the CCO to assess the compliance program, identify areas for improvement, and implement remediation.
  • Maintain records and metrics of compliance program functions.

Job Skills:

  • Critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses or alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Organization and the ability to accurately manage records are essential.
  • Monitoring and assessing the performance of other individuals or the organizations to make improvements and take corrective action.
  • Coordinating between multiple stakeholders and facilitating progress toward common goals.

Preferred Experience:

  • 4-8 years experience managing a large-volume compliance system.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Project management skills are critical.
