Responsibilities

The Salesforce Analyst should have mastery across sales, service, CPQ , wave analytics and will act as the subject matter expert enabling critical business processes with application capabilities. The Analyst will work closely with the end user community to ensure the solution is effectively supporting all stakeholders. The analyst will ensure the solution keeps pace with changes in sales operations, policies and/or procedures. Additionally, the Salesforce Analyst may coordinate and/or execute special projects to streamline and implement new processes to drive efficiency of sales operations. The position requires experience as a Salesforce Analyst, as well as some prior development work using APEX.
 
Primary Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform ongoing system administration (maintaining user roles, security settings, profiles, work-flow rules and data integrity)
  • Setup and maintain dashboards, reports, forms, templates, custom objects, object relationships, fields and layouts.
  • Monitor and resolve issue/bug tickets related to Salesforce.
  • Monitor and respond to posts within the Salesforce internal forum, with eye towards enforcing consistent policies globally.
  • Assist with clean-up procedures, including data migrations and mass data uploads.
  • Help drive end-user adoption of Salesforce through documentation, support and training of new and current employees
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users (i.e., Salesforce Reference Guide).
  • Fully understand the sales operations/processes underlying the Salesforce implementation.
  • Drive standards within Salesforce implementation.
  • Manage project activities related to Salesforce customizations and/or developments.

Job Skills:

This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

  • Mastery of Sales Operations, CPQ and Customer Service business processes
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) on operations/processes/configuration of Salesforce
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional relationship management and intrapersonal communication skills 

 Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree with preferred major in Business or Information Technology
  • Salesforce certification required (i.e. ADM201)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus

 Preferred Experience:

  • 3+ years of strong technical and functional experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Working Knowledge of Apex/Visualforce/Wave Analytics
