We're looking for a Credit Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities

The Credit Manager reports to the Corporate Credit Manager and is responsible for credit and collections functions for specified brands/regions, through direct customer contact and by overseeing functions of credit analyst(s).  This person will also make major credit decisions regarding medium to high volume accounts.

 

Here’s a look into what you will be doing in this role:

  • Review and approve credit limits on new and existing accounts
  • Prepare A/R and collection reports for dissemination to regional sales offices
  • Determine when accounts are placed on credit hold
  • Coordinate credit limits and collection activity with credit analysts
  • Make determinations with the Corporate Credit Manager to assign accounts to outside agency
  • Analyze financial statements to determine higher credit lines
  • Negotiate payment arrangements
  • Participate in update meetings with Corporate Credit Manager

The person in this role should possess the following skills/knowledge:

  • Background in credit/collections
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Knowledge of secured transactions
  • Financial analysis knowledge

 Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree

 Preferred Experience:

  • 5 years experience as a Credit Manager in a high volume manufacturing environment
