Responsibilities

Here's a look into what you will be doing in the role:

 

  • Lead implementation of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) for consolidation of ADS’ global accounts
  • Take ownership of the consolidation framework that ensures accurate reliability global consolidation and financial reporting
  • Maintain integrity of global chart of accounts and related cross mapping between Oracle and HFM
  • Responsible for oversight of all intercompany transactions and processes, as well as the completeness and accuracy of intercompany accounts
  • Perform monthly analysis of CTA account and functional currency gains/losses
  • Preparation of ad hoc reporting and other analysis for senior management
  • Drive ongoing efforts focused on streamlining, improving, and automating processes
  • Collaborate across assorted business functions (finance, accounting, sales, operations, IT, HR, Investor Relations, etc.) providing insights with ad‐hoc analysis
  • Drive through challenges in order to effectively deliver on commitments
  • Ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, maintaining updated documentation and providing recommendations as appropriate

 

Requirements

Qualified applicants should possess the following background and characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 7+ years practical work experience and familiarity with areas of intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, multi-currency consolidations, and financial reporting
  • Previous experience with operating HFM required, experience with implementation of HFM preferred
  • Solid understanding of general ledger systems and foreign currency translation
  • Strong technical skills including knowledge of GAAP and sound understanding of financial statement mechanics
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • Ability to understand issues, demonstrate resourcefulness and pro-actively resolve problems and manage multiple projects in a timely manner
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner
  • Able to handle confidential information in a mature manner
  • Solid organizational skills: task prioritization and effective time management
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence individuals in various functional areas and different levels of the organization
  • Mid to advanced PC skills using Outlook, Word, Excel (ability to perform pivots, V-lookups and other functions with Excel)
  • Oracle experience preferred
