The Customer Service Representative provides support to our valued customers.  A successful individual will be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with professionalism and efficiency.  This position requires a highly motivated team player with high energy who is willing to go above and beyond while displaying a positive, optimistic and upbeat outlook. This position reports to the CS Supervisor & working hours are 11:00 AM – 8:00PM.



Here’s a look into what you will be doing in this role:

  • Respond to customer requests received by fax, telephone, mail, or email.
  • Provide product information and technical resources.
  • Perform order entry accurately with a sense of urgency.
  • Review orders and check for accuracy.
  • Liaison for the sales department, logistics department, and the customer.
  • Partner with co-workers and customers to resolve customer issues.
  • Research customer inquiries and respond to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Keep customers informed of order status.
  • Process credits and debits in a timely manner.

The person in this role should possess the following skills & knowledge:

  • Effective verbal & written communication skills
  • Computer literate with spreadsheet knowledge
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel) a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • College degree preferred

Preferred Experience:

  • Two plus years customer service experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, strongly preferred.
