    Responsibilities

    Position will be responsible for calling on civil engineering firms and promoting the complete line of water management solutions under the Advanced Drainage Systems portfolio including HDPE and Polypropylene pipe and fittings, StormTech retention/detention chamber systems, Nyloplast drainage structures, Water Quality products and more for use in the storm sewer and sanitary sewer markets.

     

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

     

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Physical sales calls to civil engineering firms promoting ADS products and services
    • Developing relationships with the local engineering community
    • Working with engineers on project designs to increase specifications of ADS products on upcoming projects
    • Assisting engineers with technical issues and resolutions
    • Conducting lunch and learns with engineering firms/targets
    • Participating with industry trade associations that focus on engineering activity (ASCE, etc.)
    • Assist and collaborate with Field Sales Representatives on project opportunities as needed

    Job Skills:

    • This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
    • Understand of storm sewer and sanitary sewer systems
    • Strong technical acumen

    • Consultive selling capabilities

    • Strong initiative

    Educational Requirements:

    • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree

    Preferred Experience:

    • Internships while in college helpful
    • Good understanding of the local engineering community

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift small samples
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
    • Heavy local travel daily with frequent stops
