The Business Process role is the key interface to ADS on the Supply Chain processes, procedures and key enablers. This includes Demand Management (DM), Inventory Analysis, Advanced Supply Planning tools (LP/ MIP models), S&OP, and Metrics. This position will assist in design, development, implementation, and measurement of the Supply Chain processes. This position will provide leadership to the business on how the processes, procedures, and tools can help the business and will train / coach key users. This person will also develop business knowledge to become key user of each of key Supply Chain processes. This role will also involve Network and Operational analysis to support capital investment.



Primary Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Demand Management Process: Responsible for the development and support of demand management tools and processes. Analyze the statistical forecast engines for improvement of the system generated forecast. Ensure the correct processes and feeds are in place to feed other processes such as Master Production Schedule (MPS), Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planner(ASCP), MRP, S&OP and Budgeting.
  • Inventory Management (IM) Process: Accountable for detailed analytics involving inventory metrics, excess inventory, inventory velocity and enhancement of metrics to yield information for better decision-making. Drivers safety stock calculations to aid the business in inventory build strategy.
  • Supply Planning tools: Implements and responsible for the use of tools to optimize the short term Master production Schedule. Longer range Supply Planning models will support the S&OP, LTM, and Strategic models.
  • Logistics Transportation & Management(LTM): Supports and uses this tool to analyze and optimize the internal plant resupply and customer supply networks using internal fleet and external carriers.
  • Expected to identify and implement process improvements on plan process metrics.
  • Responsible for Material Resource Planning (MRP) used to replenish raw materials. Candidate will learn the various MRP techniques used within Oracle. Additional requirements include analysis of the MRP process, and recommendation of process improvements.
  • Project tracking to ensure that team projects meet targets.
  • S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning): Responsible for the implementation and support of S&OP process. This includes demand meetings, supply meetings, inventory analysis, and metrics around the S&OP process.

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Supply Chain & logistics data analysis, interpretation of results, and preparing presentations

  • Interaction with other Departments or Business units working on common projects

  • Data Visualization - using data to tell a story and persuade others towards best practices

  • Working with other associates to improve business processes and practices

  • LP (Linear Programming), Mixed Integer problems, APS heuristics and algorithms

  • Experience working with Network and Logistics analysis desired
