The Service Coordinators main function is to be a point of contact for the CSR’s and Sales Representatives to expedite deliveries and locate inventory to satisfy customer requirements. The service coordinator should understand inventory and production scheduling as well as order entry and customer service requirements. A successful individual will be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with professionalism and efficiency.  This position requires a highly motivated team player willing to work with other team members to achieve results.  Job hours will be 9am - 6pm.


The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:


  • Expedite orders to meet delivery needs of customer
  • Follows up on Back-orders to ensure they ship in a timely manner
  • Communicate delivery changes to Sales, CSR and customer
  •  Train CSR’s on how to break down orders into truckloads
  • Resolve territorial disputes btw Plants or Yards
  • Resource orders as needed
  • Liaison for the sales department, logistics department, inventory planning and customer service
  • Interface with co-workers and customers in reference to customer issues.
  • Main point of contact for Sales Reps and CSR’s with delivery issues
  • Research delivery options and respond to appropriate parties in a timely manner
  • Works with other Service Coordinators to meet the needs of our customers
  • Coordinates bumping decisions with the Zone Manager
  • Champion the improvement of On Time Delivery % and overall improvement in the customer service metrics

 Educational Requirements:


  • High School Diploma
  • College Degree Preferred



 Preferred Experience:


  • Dispatch or Customer Service – 2+ Years
  • Windows XP and Microsoft Office
  • Oracle
  • LoadMaster/Nistevo/CTS


 Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to sit for long periods


  • Ability to wear a headset for long periods
