    Responsibilities

    The National Accounts Director will be responsible for managing customer relationships and leading a team that is focused on driving sales and growing market share within the large retail chains, hardware co-ops, buying groups, lumber yard chains, building material, and landscape & irrigation stores.  Role will manage roughly $150M - $200M in business.

     

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Hire, develop, and lead a high performing team.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams (including Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, etc.) to drive solutions to customer needs
    • Manage relationships at customers’ senior management level.
    • Provide analytical reporting based on customer, region, and product to make sound business decisions
    • Navigate product line reviews with customers to grow and maintain market share.
    • Manage and implement pricing strategies at national and local levels
    • Administer and negotiate annual programs with the retail and national accounts
    • Evaluate Competition and understand our strength, weaknesses and opportunities
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for product and services
    • Partner with field sales team to facilitate sales on a local level
    • Lead new retail focused product strategy.

     Physical Requirements:

     

    • Ability to work in office and field environments
