    Responsibilities

    This position has direct responsibility for Supply Chain data as it related to Product Lifecycles, BOM, Item Costing, and Master Data Management in an Oracle ERP system.  Emphasis on strong interaction with Finance on product costing.  Duties will also include manage of Inventory minimum/maximum levels, day of inventory outstanding levels. 

    Success of this position is defined by accuracy of data in the ERP system and improved inventory management.
     
    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Master Data Management in Oracle ERP System including: BOM, Supply Chain, and Product Lifecycles
    • Develop and monitor improved inventory targets for established pipe and none-pipe items.
    • Point of Contact for new item setup
    • Work with sales managers to establish effective inventory targets for new items.
    • Interaction with Finance for product costing
    • Provide reporting as required.
    • Assist as required with product sourcing decisions.

    • Strong function understanding of Oracle
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong relationship management and interpersonal communication skills
    • Function understanding of inventory management techniques/objective.
    • Must work well independently
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Associates degree with preferred major in Supply Chain Management

    Preferred Experience:

    • Oracle eBusiness Suite version 11.5 or later
    • Two years of general business experience.
