    Responsibilities

    The Order Fulfillment Specialist has the responsibility to manage dealer/distributor orders on a daily basis. They are the key link in communication with our customers for order/inventory questions. The individual works closely with our shipping department and Customer Service Representatives to ensure that every order is processed and delivered on time.

     

    A strong business acumen, basic accounting skills and the ability to reason through ever changing scenarios are necessities for this position. Taking the initiative, strong math skills, and the ability to anticipate problems before they occur are also essential for success in this position. The candidate must work well with a team of people who are committed to continuing the Company's high growth rate. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Track and follow up of known issues and important orders on a daily basis.
    • Review all orders for inventory availability and delivery date requirements.  Insure that customer and Sales are informed of production and transportation delays.
    • Work as liaison for customer communication between our freight, inventory, and production teams
    • Review of orders to ensure that information is correct.  Coordinate and resolve customer pickup issues. 
    • Become the main point of contact for the Sales team on plant specific questions.  Monitor backorders to provide delivery dates.

    Job Requirements:

    • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
    • Strong IT skills
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, performance based environment

    Preferred Skills/Qualification:

    • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system
    • Bachelo'r degree in Supply Chain Management/Business or equivalent experience preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    Employee will be lifting heavy objects and must have the ability to lift 25 pounds
    Employee will be sitting for a specified amount of time and must have the ability to sit at a minimum for 8 hours
