    The Inside Sales Engineer (ISE) will be responsible for reviewing/uncovering opportunities, identifying requirements, and working closely with our sales reps, APMs, and in-house staff to determine and recommend proper products needed on projects.  The ISE is a primary point of contact for sales opportunities, communicating with the sales teams over the phone, via e-mail, or through Chatter (Salesforce CRM), while working closely amidst the team. The ISE will prepare new project quotations or revisions, manage and facilitate the pricing approval process, perform contact management/maintenance, and distribute submittal packages/product information as required.


    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Coordinate with the sales team to generate quotes for inlet protection opportunities after reviewing plans, bid tabs, website leads, and other requests
    • Recommend pricing strategy for products including generation and implementation of incentive programs
    • Identify new opportunities for potential customers/distributors, regional regulations, agency approvals, and new products through creative and thorough search methods
    • Develop an understanding of regional territory dynamics (i.e. customer relationships, pricing, competition, product design, etc.) for each of our product types: temporary, permanent, full trash capture inlet protection
    • Build rapport with the field sales team and provide Salesforce support
    • Manage Salesforce project tracking for project opportunities
    • Produce/deliver quotes for projects within Salesforce, confirm the accuracy with the sales reps, APMS, and internal staff
    • Manage (add/delete/update) the Salesforce projects and modify existing quotes with different quantities, products, customers
    • Generate Salesforce reports and update opportunities until they are closed out
    • Maintain confidentiality of all trade secrets and other company/customer information

    Job Skills:

    Educational Requirements:

    • Engineering Degree or Technical Bachelors Degree

    Preferred Experience:


    • Sales or specification of civil construction products
    • Inside Sales (2+ years)
    • Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
    • Salesforce CRM software

    Physical Requirements:


    • Ability to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per day
